Samsung Electronics America today unveiled its latest monitor, the S4 24-inch webcam monitor (model number: S40VA), designed to meet the needs of hybrid workers. With a webcam, built-in speakers and microphone, the monitor helps users connect and collaborate easily.
“With many adjustments to long-term hybrid work and learning environments, Samsung introduces its first webcam monitor to make life easier for those who often make video calls or multitasking. ” said Mark Quiroz, vice president of marketing for Samsung’s Display division. “With the webcam at the top of the screen, users can join a video conference, take an online course or attend a virtual event from the same monitor, without the need to purchase another device or manage more cables. . “
With a 2.0 mega-pixel FHD camera and infrared camera, the S4 meets the specifications required to join a conference or attend virtual meetings. The pop-up camera is revealed by pushing it down into the monitor to pop it out, creating a simple and seamless experience when videoconferencing and connecting virtually with others.
To make logging in fast, secure and efficient, the S4 is “Windows Hello” certified, which means users can log in or unlock their computer in just 2 seconds. With biometric sensors that scan a user’s face, there is no need to provide a password to access Windows 10 devices, apps, and websites.
The Samsung S4 webcam monitor has Full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution and a wide 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle, which delivers vivid color and clarity to every inch of the screen and provides optimal viewing from any angle. The built-in webcam and speakers save space on the ports, enhancing the practical connectivity benefits of the S4. As the monitor functions as a USB hub, a laptop and additional peripherals can be connected simultaneously, eliminating any problem of port shortage.
The Samsung S4 webcam monitor is designed with comfort in mind. The ergonomic stand provides maximum productivity and comfort thanks to its design and VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) compatibility. The monitor’s height adjustable stand (HAS), tilt, swivel and swivel features allow users to customize the position of the monitor to work best for them.
The monitor is also designed with Samsung’s flicker-free blue low-light features designed to minimize harmful visual effects that can cause eye strain after long-term use.
